A big beef breaks out between the Clippers and the Sixers!

Les superstars NBA Joel Embiid et Kawhi Leonard ont récemment vu la naissance d'un beef entre membres importants des Philadelphia 76ers et des Los Angeles Clippers

Two days after the meeting between Clippers and 76ers, largely won by Philly, the two franchises continue to send tackles through the media. Two big names in the league have indeed exchanged punchline on punchline in recent hours!

Is an unlikely new rivalry emerging before our eyes? In any case, it takes the path. Last Friday, the 76ers defeated the Clippers at the Crypto.com Arena (122-97), thanks in particular to a nice 18/19 in throws from the two stars of the franchise, Joel Embiid and James Harden. Tyronn Lue had however warned his troops before the meeting, with pungent remarks which had then made the buzz.

We have to stay disciplined, we have no choice. Embiid is No. 1 in free throws converted per game this season, and James is No. 3. I think I read that if you take away their free throw runs, they wouldn’t be in the top 10 scorers in the league. So that shows you how far they’re going down the line. (…) They will get whistles, but we have to make sure we do our job well.

After 76ers/Clippers, Daryl Morey and Tyronn Lue go on fire

The Clips coach therefore did not get what he wanted, since Embiid like Harden caused many faults, and sanctioned the LA defense in this way. His remarks concerning the two leaders of Philly did not, however, go unanswered. When discovering them on Twitter, the GM of the Sixers, Daryl Morey, reacted to them with a big crop for the Angeleno coach!

The Clippers offense would rank 30th in the league without free throws. Repeat after me: Players are fouled because the other team can’t stop them.

Unsurprisingly, these words also made their way to the ears of their target. Lue then did not give her part to the dog, and attacked Morey with a scathing tackle in connection with the big controversy he sparked in 2019causing trouble between the NBA and China!

Well, they took my words out of context. What I was saying is if you keep fouling these guys, they can plant 50 points. (…) But to answer Daryl Morey, should he really tweet anything? The last time he tweeted, he cost the NBA a billion dollars. So I don’t think he should tweet. That he cares about his team.

Bad luck for the fans, since Clippers and 76ers will not meet again on the floors this season, except in possible Finals. The war between Daryl Morey and Tyronn Lue will therefore have to continue in the media!
